MCS

Renewable energy installation standards

Stag Solar is MCS certified under registration number NIC-5954. MCS certification demonstrates that we have been independently assessed against recognised requirements for the installation of eligible low-carbon technologies.

What this means for you

Choosing an MCS-certified installer gives you independent reassurance that your installation is carried out to recognised technical and quality standards. MCS certification may also be required for access to certain renewable-energy tariffs and incentives.

NICEIC

Electrical competence and safety Stag Solar is an NICEIC Approved Contractor under registration number D616112. NICEIC independently assesses registered electrical contractors to confirm that they meet relevant technical and safety requirements for the work they undertake.

Consumer protection for renewable-energy customers Stag Solar is a member of the Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC), which sets consumer-protection standards for businesses selling and installing small-scale renewable and low-carbon energy systems.

What this means for you

Our RECC membership means that Stag Solar is required to follow recognised standards covering areas such as marketing, quotations, contracts, installation and after-sales service. Customers also have access to independent dispute-resolution arrangements if a complaint cannot be resolved directly.
